Along with the book will be 5-6 bookish items that range from things like candles and bath bombs, to mugs and cushion covers.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, I highly suggest you visit their website and begin your Fairy Loot adventure!

I will be writing about the things I receive every month, including my opinions on the items and a full length book review with villain rating for the included book.

Beast & Beauty Artwork and Matching Bookmark

Two Bookish Character Tarot Cards This month the characters were Rhysand as Emperor and Mor as Judgment from A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Large Wall Tapestry by Sweet Sequels. I love this so much! It’s absolutely humongous. I’m currently using it as a chair throw because I just don’t have room to hang something this size up. The scene depicts Belle and Beast dancing in the ballroom and it’s beautiful.

Sparkly Tumbler by Taratjah and KDP Letters. This is a perfect lidded tumbler with a straw, but it’s filled with large gold glitter pieces that move around. Very fancy. There’s a quote on one side that says—Tale as old as time, and on the other side there’s a lovely picture of a rose shedding its petals. This is just a really nice cup.

Ceramic Trinket Dish by Drop and Give me Nerdy. I frikkin’ adore this little dish. The dish was packed in its own little box with bubble wrap and measures about 4 inches across. It’s black with a gold font that reads—If it’s not baroque don’t fix it. It’s an adorable little pun and I love it.

Tea With Mrs. Potts Roll-On Perfume by Little Heart Gifts. A generous little roll-on perfume stick. This is scented Vanilla and White Tea, but I really can’t smell the tea at all. The vanilla is lovely though, it makes me smell like an ice cream! The label has cute little teapots and cups, too!

Enchanted Rose Enamel Pin by IceyDesigns. I’m always excited to receive another pin badge, and this is a lovely one. It features the rose in a stained glass styled dome, and the quote on the card reads—Until the last petal falls. It’s super detailed, you can even see the thorns on the rose stem!

Belle Print by @amaretta_. This is a stunning piece of artwork featuring Belle reading a book in the library. The sunlight is shining in through a window and lighting up her beautiful features. Clearly drawn by an amazing artist.

The City of Brass and The Kingdom of Copper Promotional Bookmark. This is an advertisement double sided bookmark for The City of Brass and The Kingdom of Copper by S.A. Chakraborty. The tagline reads—Be careful what you wish for…

Villain Rating:

We have a wonderful villainess in this book. Lilith is a magesmith who really has a bone to pick with the Crown Prince of Emberfall, Rhen. Firstly, his father, the king, ordered all magesmiths to be killed off in a huge slaughter, but being one of the only survivors, Lilith gained most of their powers and became pretty much unstoppable. Then, after spending a night with Rhen, he rejected her, and so as an act of revenge she cursed him and the kingdom.GIF by aaron frey

I can kind of get why Lilith is so furious with this guy. If this story was told from Lilith’s point of view, we’d probably be rooting for her against the evil prince who broke her heart. Sure, she’s cruel and vindictive, and she’s really enjoying the torment and pain she visits on Rhen’s kingdom, but she’s still kind of in love with him, so I guess this could all be chalked up to crimes of passion, right? 7/10

Author: Claire

Hello, everyone! My name is Claire and, probably much like yourself, I'm an avid reader. I don't know about you, but I always end up finding the villain to be the most interesting and absorbing character in most books. Who can forget Captain Hook or Tom Riddle? How many of us would love to meet the Wicked Witch of the West? Or invite Hannibal Lecter over for dinner and a nice Chianti? I wanted to name my book blog something suitable and thus Love the Villain was born! I hope you enjoy reading through my book reviews and things, and don't hesitate to get in touch!
