If this sounds like something you might be interested in, I highly suggest you visit their website and begin your Fairy Loot adventure!

I will be writing about the things I receive every month, including my opinions on the items and a full length book review with villain rating for the included book.

Unbreakable Bonds Artwork and Matching Bookmark

Two Bookish Character Tarot Cards This month the characters were Feyre as Empress and Azriel as Strength from A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Exclusive Raven Crew Cushion Cover by Momolimeart and KDP Letters. One side of this gorgeous cushion cover has an artwork of all the Raven Boys in a forest, and the other has the quote—The trees speak Latin. I love the design and will definitely be using this a lot in the future!

Exclusive Will and Jem Candle by Geeky Clean. Candles are always good, but I’m kind of disappointed with this one. The scent is Tea and Sweet Sage, but it’s very subtle and doesn’t have much power at all. The wax itself also looks kind of off, it’s green with a sort of moldy brown at the bottom. This is inspired by Will Herondale and Jem Carstairs from The Infernal Devices. UPDATE: After lighting this candle my opinion has completely changed. It smells lovely, and the wax turns black when it melts! Very cool.

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate by The Tea Leaf Co. I’m so excited to try this! This is inspired by Lia and Pauline’s friendship in The Remnant Chronicles, which I haven’t read just yet. I don’t normally like Salted Caramel, but I’m still looking forward to this. Nobody takes chocolate away from me!

Exclusive Fellowship Friendship Woodmark by Ink and Wonder Designs. I am all about woodmarks at the moment. This one has a beautiful design on the front and the quote—There is some good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for—from The Lord of the Rings. The woodmark itself is a little thin for my liking, but it’s still lovely.

Exclusive Lip Balm by Book and Nook. I love this item, so much! This lip balm is inspired by Jules and Arsinoe from Three Dark Crowns, and is scented Mint and Violet. It smells wonderful, and it’s just the right weather to need one of these. I’m thrilled!

Exclusive Dregs Hair Band by Fictiontea Designs. This really pretty headband is black with designs of crows, dice, goblets and guns. It’s knotted at the front and elasticated at the back, making it a perfect headband to wear out of the house, or work out in. It’s silky to touch and I love it to bits. It’s inspired by Six of Crows, of course.

Once and Future Postcard. This is an advertisement postcard for Once and Future by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy, which actually looks really great. This book should be hitting shelves in March 2019.

The Black Cats Postcard. This is an advertisement postcard for The Black Coats (misspelled on the spoiler card as “cats”) by Colleen Oakes. This book should be hitting the shelves in February 2019.

Book of the Month:

Circle of Shadows

Circle of Shadows (Circle of Shadows, #1)

Evelyn Skye

Details: The book is actually signed by the author. This hardback book has an epic 464 pages and the story looks to be really cool! The pages are sprayed a lovely lilac colour to match to cover. Included in the bag with the book was a personal letter from Sarah, which is lovely, and an exclusive artwork!

Villain Rating:

Well, there’s no secret who the villain of this book is! Prince Gin, or the Dragon Prince as his followers call him. This guy is great! Basically, when he was young he read a myth about something called The Evermore. The god involved says that if there’s enough bloodshed and war, he’ll turn their kingdom into a paradise afterwards. Gin wholeheartedly believes in this and he truly thinks that everything he does is for the good of Kichona.

The thing is, it’s not that crazy! The gods actually make an appearance in this book, so they do exist. That’s not up for question. In fact, the very god Gin prays to comes around to collect his sacrifices at one point. What’s to say that what Gin’s doing isn’t really for the good of the future? Also, this guy has an actual conscience! He feels guilt when he has someone killed, and wavers between doing the right thing or not frequently. He also uses amazing mind control powers that make anyone think everything is all roses and perfect. His followers love him, and I loved him, too. 9/10

Hello, everyone! My name is Claire and, probably much like yourself, I'm an avid reader. I don't know about you, but I always end up finding the villain to be the most interesting and absorbing character in most books. Who can forget Captain Hook or Tom Riddle? How many of us would love to meet the Wicked Witch of the West? Or invite Hannibal Lecter over for dinner and a nice Chianti? I wanted to name my book blog something suitable and thus Love the Villain was born! I hope you enjoy reading through my book reviews and things, and don't hesitate to get in touch!
